Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow Wind Warning for the whole country, valid from Wednesday night until 6am on Friday (3rd).
The AA report Wind-blown debris is likely to be a problem on secondary roads in particular.
Bear in mind that high-sided vehicles are especially vulnerable on open or exposed roads. Be extra mindful of pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists.
The OPW have advised that there will be a period of high astronomical Spring Tides in the some coastal areas commencing today, Wednesday 1st until Friday 3rd February 2017.
Sea levels in Wicklow and Arklow are expected to be highest tomorrow +0.60m, Thursday 2nd February. Please exercise caution.
The RNLI are warning people to avoid coastlines, piers, cliffs and exposed headlands tomorrow with winds gusting in excess of 100kmh.
