It’s been a busy few weeks. Great turnout at the County Cross Country hosted by Billy Porter and Rathdrum community games with nine of our athletes going forward to the National Festival in Abbotstown on May 6th.

Our U15 Boys badminton team went on to Leinster in Carlow played very well but unfortunately got knocked out in the semifinals.

The Art and Handwriting has been judged locally and gone on to the next round for the overall judging to see who goes forward to County Finals on Sunday May 28th in Dunlavin NS. Those results should be back by beginning of May. Thank you to all our local schools who facilitated the competition and we are very grateful for their continued support.

The County talent finals take place on Sunday 14th May in Glenealy. Registration at 12.30 with a 1.00pm start. We have a few entries for singing and dancing. Any other child interested please contact me before May 5th.

Our local area athletic finals will take place on Monday 24th April in the community field. Registration is at 6.00pm for a 6.30pm start. Races start from toddlers to U16 distances.
