Talented Wicklow students win Texaco awards

Two Wicklow students have been presented with top awards in this year’s 63rd Texaco Children’s Art Competition.
Pictured is Niall Al-Amidi (14) from New Court School, Bray, who won a Special Merit Award in the competition. Presenting him with the award is James Twohig, Director Ireland Operations of Valero.
Another Wicklow winner, who also received a Special Merit Award at a ceremony held in Dublin recently, was Leon Swayne (17), also from New Court School, Bray.
