The Taste of Wicklow, which is now the biggest food festival on the East Coast, returns to the historic Abbey Grounds in Wicklow Town this Sunday, the 25th June. This unique festival has attracted thousands each year with over 40 artisans and craft stalls, providing a great opportunity for these artisan providers to showcase their product.
This unique food festival is organised and promoted by Wicklow Town & District Chamber office. This is the 3rd year that the event has been generously sponsored by Gallagher’s Supervalu in Wicklow Town.
The chef line-up includes Michelin start chef Derry Clarke, Paul Kelly of The Merrion Hotel, Druid Chef Rory Morahan, together with a host of local chef’s, will cook up a storm for the thousands expected to attend what has become the biggest food festival on the East Coast.
There will be a full music programme all day which has been generously sponsored by The Bridge Tavern. This will ensure that all visitors to the beautiful historic Abbey Grounds will be provided with a first class music experience with music to suit all tastes and age groups.
From start to finish, the day is packed full of free family fun with children’s games, magicians, face painters and walkabout performers. It has truly become a family friendly festival with something for everybody in the family.
There is a cost of entry to the Abbey Grounds of €5 per adult, with children under 12 going free.
