Rathnew 1-13 St Vincent’s (Dublin) 1-9

Rathnew turned the form book on its head after beating Dublin county champions St.Vincent’s in Aughrim on Sunday in the Leinster Senior Football Championship.

St.Vincent’s were odds on favorites (1-16) to beat the village, who now march on into the semi-finals where they will meet Kildare champions Moorefield.

In the run up to the game manager Harry Murphy felt Rathnew would do a job on Vincent’s.
