Wicklow Dementia Support
Meet and Eat is a new pilot project, that aims to target older adults who are socially isolated, living alone, and in particular those who are vulnerable due to physical, mental, or cognitive impairment and living in the Roundwood, Laragh, Ashford and Newtownmountkennedy areas.
Twelve volunteers are being recruited to assist with preparations nutritious meals and providing companionship at mealtimes once a week in the older person’s home. Training will be provided for volunteers.

Volunteer recruitment and training takes place now in January 2018.
The programme will be rolled out in February.
It is with great sadness the club have learned of the passing of Aaron O’Kelly, age 12.
Aaron spent some time with us in Bray in our academy. Bray Emmets club and its members would like to send their condolences to the O’Kelly family at this very sad time.
