Aughrim notes week March 19th

Sympathy

Knockananna Gaa club and community wish to pass on their condolences to the Phelan family Aughrim on the sudden and extremely sad passing of Gerry Phelan.

Gerry was asked by our club would he like to donate a prize for our super draw. No problem was the answer Gerry donated a one night stay for 2 people in the Meath arms plus a meal for two in the grainstore .

Jesus Gerry a bottle of wine or whiskey would have been perfect as I’m sure everyone had you driven mad for a prize especially at Easter and Christmas. But you were one sound man.
