After a horrible Easter Wicklow Weather predict there is still no sign of Spring, tonight will see lows of -5, while heavy rain and gales have been forecast for Thursday night and Friday.
A very cold night ahead with severe frost in many areas. Lows of -5c to 0c. Black ice on secondary road networks, care required on sheltered secondary road networks.
A risk of localised flooding on Thursday evening and that risk will continue into Friday morning/afternoon.
Between 20mm and 40mm in both provinces with localised areas seeing 40mm to 60mm.
South Connacht could see spot flooding with accumulations of 20mm to 30mm.
North Leinster and Ulster…10mm to 20mm.
Gales along coasts across Munster and Leinster on Thursday night and Friday.
Overall an improvement with temps increasing by the weekend and throughout next week with values in the low teens. Remaining cool to cold by night. While an improvement in temperatures is likely it will be accompanied by unsettled weather with low pressure never to far away.
