It is now mid April and we still seem to be stuck in winter, MET Eireann have issued two weather warnings for this evening and tomorrow.
Cloud will increase this afternoon and rain will spread eastwards across the province, reaching the east coast towards evening. Highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees in fresh and gusty, south to southeast winds which will strengthen during the afternoon.
Tonight will be wet and very windy with persistent rain, which will be heavy at times leading to a risk of localised flooding. Lowest temperatures of 9 or 10 degrees in strong and gusty, southerly winds.
It will be a wet and windy start to tomorrow, Tuesday but the rain will clear away during the morning and the rest of the day will be bright with sunny spells and some scattered showers. Highest temperatures of 14 to 16 degrees with strong and gusty southerly winds easing during the afternoon.
