Frank O’Dowd of Bray, Co. Wicklow and late of Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan died peacefully on 5th April, 2018, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Joseph’s Centre, Crinken, Shankill. Beloved husband of the late Marie (née Delaney) and brother of the late Matthew, Seamus, Sheila, Kathleen and Bridget, adored father of Damien, Geraldine, Maeve and Yvonne. He will be sadly missed by his son, daughters, grandchildren Garvan, Niamh, Cormac, Kate, Oisín, Maria, Pierce, Christian, Caroline, Eoin, Felicity and Madeleine, sons-in-law Max Doyle, Killian Ryan, Mark Rooney and daughter-in-law Celine, dear friend Tina McCarthy, brother Paddy, sisters May and Nancy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
There will be a gathering for family and friends on Sunday, 8th April, from 3.00pm to 5.00pm with prayers at 4.30pm, at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray, Co. Wicklow. Requiem Mass on Monday, 9th April, at 11.30am in the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Main Street, Bray, Co. Wicklow followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill, Co. Dublin.
