Well we thought we would not be issuing a weather warning for at least another 5 months but sure it is Ireland.
Aughrim based Wicklow Weather posted
Friday 1st June
A risk of spot flooding and flash flooding with torrential short lived showers leading to approx 50mm+ of rainfall.
**These fractured downpours will lead to very difficult driving conditions, even temporary icy conditions where hail covers road networks**
The risk of severe thunderstorms breaking out is moderate with all areas at risk from morning until midnight tomorrow night. We expect these storms to begin mid to late morning and move in a westerly fashion across the country by tomorrow night.
So be careful out there.
