Gardai and the Defence forces are carrying out a search of Cherrywood road for a handbag belonging to Jastine Valdez.
It is expected the route from Kilcrony where Ms Valdez was abducted to Puck’s Castle lane will also be searched.
Gardai are still keen to speak to anyone who may have seen Mark Hennessy on Saturday or Sunday to contact them, as they piece together the events which took place over the week-end.
Hennessy was driving a black Nissan Quisqui registration 171 D 20419 between 5pm on Saturday 19 May and 8pm on Sunday 21 May.
He is described a 176 cm (5’9”), of slight build and balding and was wearing a dark coloured tee shirt, blue jeans and grey runners at the time.
Motorists who may have travelled in the South Dublin/North Wicklow area with dashcam footage are asked to make it available.
