Wexford Bus has announced the launch of a new route to Dublin City and Airport for Arklow and Wicklow Town.

From June 1st, those living around Arklow Town, Ballincore, Jack Whites, The Beehive, and Wicklow Town will be able to avail of the new return service which departs from Gorey.

The last pick-up point on this new route is located at The Grand Hotel in Wicklow Town, so commuters in the area can look forward to a direct service to Dublin City & Airport.

Wexford Bus hopes that third level students attending UCD, Trinity, DCU and the city centre based IT’s will all now have a frequent bus timetable which will make commuting in September much easier.

The 740A Route will depart from Gorey at 06.00, Wicklow Town at 06.40 and is scheduled for arrival at Leeson street for 07.30 and Dublin Airport for 08.10.

Wexford Bus will operate up to nine daily services in each direction and the coaches operating will have on-board Wi-Fi, and will accept Leap Cards. Tax Saver Tickets will be available on this new service and the Department of Social Protection Travel Pass will be accepted.

Adult Day Return from Wicklow to Dublin City will be €15.50 or €65 for a 10 journey weekly ticket.  A Student Monthly Return from Wicklow to Dublin City will be €13.00 or €48 for a 10 journey Leap student weekly ticket. For full details of the timetables and fares see https://www.wexfordbus.com/
