Campaigners from Wicklow have joined groups nationwide today in a ‘National Day of Action’, in solidarity with the 209 women who have been affected by the ongoing Cervicalcheck scandal.

Organised by the Standing4Women campaign, a number of demonstrations are being held around the country with a main one taking place outside the Dáil at 5pm.

A number of supporters from Wicklow have travelled to the demonstration at the Dáil, while a smaller one is underway at Market Square in Wicklow Town for those who were unable to travel to Dublin.
