Ladies Day Out
Tickets are now on sale for the Ladies Day in The Woodenbridge Hotel on 1st July, glass of prosecco & afternoon tea, fashion shows by McMullans & Fayebella, make-up demonstrations by Beauty by Nicola & Catherina Aylward, hair demonstrations by Bernie from The Cutting Room, stylist corner, pop up beauty salon from 12-2, main event from 2-5, prizes for Best Dressed Lady, spot prizes and raffle. A great day out, pre booking only, tickets cost €30 and are available from Veronica Carr, Linda Hannay, Niamh Armstrong, Fainche Murphy, Sara Horan Byrne & Denise Byrne. All proceed to Annacurra Community Playground Committee.
Annacurra Indoor Bowls Club send their Congratulations to our colleagues Jack and Ann Lynch on the occasion of their Golden Wedding Anniversary.
They were married in Saint Bridgids Church Annacurra on the 1st of June 1968. Its fantastic to see them both so youthful and active after 50 years.
We wish them both many more years of good health and happiness.
The Bowls club is presently on its summer recess.
We will be resuming bowling again around the third week of September.
When new members will be very welcome.
We have completed twenty seasons of bowling,
The clubs 20th anniversary is taken place in September as we first commenced Bowling in Annacurra on 13th November 1998.
The Field Day will take place on Sunday, June 17th at 2.00pm in the GAA pitch. With all the usual attractions, stalls and events.

It has been a busy few weeks with preparation for our County Wicklow Athletic Track and Field finals. These take place on Saturday 16th June in Shillelagh. Parade at 9.30am and games begin shortly after. Training continues every Monday 7-8 in the community field.
Some of our children were involved in the National Festival in Limerick last weekend. Paraic and Caoilin did great in the Marathon. Louis, Elliott and Jamie with performance in the singing, swimming and art. Well done!. The U12 cross country girls team came third with Sarah and Isabelle bringing back medals to our area and county. Wonderful achievements for our children.
We also have our own Kevin Moran taking part in the National Special Olympic Finals in Dublin on the weekend of 15-17th June and we wish him all the best in the running.
Some of our local teams U12 Girls Soccer, U14 Camogie, U11 and U14 Tag Rugby are training for the Leinster Zone finals which take place on Saturday 23rd June in Dublin.
