Community Games

We had a great weekend in Limerick with our eight finalists getting through to semi finals and finals. Unfortunately no medals but came close. Congratulations to you all Paraic Hannah, Anna Caolin our U16 mixed relay team. Laci JANE, Alannah Coleman and Paraic in their individual competitions.   You were all great for travelling supporting and getting into the spirit. Great weekend all national winners in our eyes. Very proud of our community games children and club. Thank you

Papal Visit

Archbishop Diarmuid Martin has asked that during the week-end of the Papal visit that Priests and Pilgrims be free to attend.  With this in mind there will be  Heart, Aughrim. No Morning Mass on Sunday August 26th. in Church of the Sacred.

Annual Sheep Show

The 51st Annual Aughrim Sheep Show and Sale will take place in Carnew Mart on Friday September 7th starting at 9am.  Entries forms are available from Alan Kinsella 087 2792157 or [email protected]. Presentation Cabaret will be held on the night in O’ Toole’s, Aughrim at 9pm. Many thanks to all who supported the Commemorative Book.  Copies are still available from all committee members for €15.

Tai Chi & Qi Gong Classes 
Learn gentle flowing healing movements that relieve stress, improve flexibility and mobility. Tai Chi & Qi Gong Classes Wednesday evenings from 7 – 8 pm @ Aughrim Sports & Leisure Complex.  Cost € 80 for a block of 8 classes. Lotto

The numbers: 12, 16, 22 and 23 drawn in the sports club lotto on Monday last August 13th.The jackpot was not won. Match three winners were: Johnnie Dunne, Eilish Byrne and Tasha Hale. The jackpot is €1950.
