Souvenir DVD of 50th Ferns Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes

This year was the 50th Ferns Diocesan Pilgrimage and for those who travelled this year, the much awaited Lourdes 2018 Souvenir DVD to commemorate this special trip is now available. The DVD comprises a wonderful record of video and photographs of this year’s pilgrimage and includes unique footage of Lourdes itself and its many aspects. Captured in the DVD’s are the spiritual, joyful and serene aspects of the pilgrimage, and some of the wonderful work that goes on in Lourdes.

The 50th anniversary pilgrimage was lead by Bishop Denis Brennan and many people who travelled to Lourdes over the years returned for this special Pilgrimage. The focus of the DVD’s however are the Invalids who travel each year and it is evident how much the five days in Lourdes means too them.

The DVD was produced by Eamonn Doran (President of the Ferns Lourdes Diocesan Hospitality). Eamonn has spent countless hours producing a series of DVD’s of the Pilgrimage over the last fifteen years and it now forms a valuable history and insight into the annual Ferns Diocesan Pilgrimage.

Copies of the DVD are now available in Myles Doyle’s Store, Main Street, Gorey and in Billy Doyle’s Shoe Shop, Enniscorthy and Wexford and in Ferns Parish Office or phone 087 2646410.

The cost of a DVD is €20.00 and once again all proceeds will go towards the Lourdes Invalid Fund.
