Gareth Farrell of East Coast News reports a 42-year old woman was brought before Bray district court yesterday charged with the murder of her 3 year old daughter earlier this year.
Zoe Whitford was placed on life support at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin, after emergency services were called to the family home in Shankill at about 4.15pm on the 10th of February.
She died three days later after her life support was withdrawn in the intensive care unit.
At the time her mother was charged with assault causing harm. However those charges were withdrawn and she was charged yesterday with her daughter’s murder.
She was remanded in custody to appear in court again next week.
