The Wicklow county footballers face a trip to Waterford on the opening day of the 2019 Allianz football league.
The provisional fixtures for the new league season were published today, with the Wicklow men facing four home games and three away in division 4.
John Evans’ men will first travel to face Waterford on the 26th of January, before two straight home matches against Leitrim (February 3rd) and Limerick (February 10th).
There is set to be a two week break until Wicklow travel up north to face Derry — relegated from Division 3 last season — on the 24th of February.
The visit of Wexford — also relegated from Division 3 — and a trip to Antrim follow on the 2nd and 16th of March respectively, before Wicklow welcome London to Joule Park for the last game on the 24th.
The 2018 season proved to be a difficult one for the Garden men, as they finished rock bottom of Division 4 with two draws (Vs Waterford and Antrim) and four losses.
These draft fixtures are subject to change when officially released by the CCC.
