MET Eireann have issued another Status Yellow Rainfall warning for Friday, today seen heavy rainfall with spot flooding reported in many parts of the county.
Motorists are being advised to drive with caution.
Status Yellow – Rainfall warning for Dublin, Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Louth, Wexford, Wicklow, Galway, Mayo, Cork, Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford
Heavy rain will lead to accumulations of around 25 to 40mm but may exceed these limits in mountainous areas.

Winds will continue to increase during the morning and it will become a wet and very windy day as rain pushes in from the west through the late morning. The rain will turn heavy and possibly thundery at times through the afternoon. There will be gales or strong gales on coasts accompanied by spray and isolated wave overtopping.
A clearance to scattered showers will arrive in the evening and winds will moderate. Highest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees.
