A talk followed by a discussion on Wills and Enduring power of Attorney will be hled on the Wednesday 28th November at 8pm in the Parish Centre. The talk will be given by a qualified legal practitioner

Unity Gospel Choir

The Unity Gospel Choir will hold a fundraising concert in Tinakilly House Rathnew on Thursday 15th November 2018 at 8.00 pm. Tickets price €15.00 (€10.00 concession) are available from Earls Newsagents Wicklow or on the door.  A beautiful calendar with original art work by members of St. Kevin’s Studio Art Group will be on sale for €10.00 on the night. All monies raised will go to Wicklow Dementia Support Group to assist in their wonderful work.  A great evening of entertainment is in prospect


Roundwood and Moneystown Christmas Sale of Work will take place in An Tochar GAA Complex on Sunday December 2nd from 12 – 4pm. A great day out for all the family with something for everyone. All donations for the various stalls will be gratefully accepted and can be left with Maureen in the Parish Office between 9.30 and 1pm (Mon-Thurs)before November 29th.


Annamoe bowls continues on Tuesday night and all newcomers are very welcome. So why not come along and give it a try?

Roundwood Coder Dojo

Starts back on the 10th of November in Roundwood NS. These are free fun computer coding sessions for age 7+. So get your laptops ready and join in for a session packed with coding. There are spare laptops available for use if required. If you haven’t been back in a while or want to try something different why not come along and we talk about Scratch, web design and robotics! Please visit to register your child. No previous experience necessary. Volunteer mentors with computer coding experience are very welcome too! Check out the website for further information.


Would you know how to do CPR on somebody who needs it. Would you recognise the signs of Stroke Come along to a public information evening in the Parish Hall on Wednesday 14th November at 8pm where Roundwood Cardiac First Responders will host a CPR/AED (defibrillator) demo and provide some hands on experience for those attending There will also be information on choking in infants and adults and how to recognise Stroke and a short video on the role of Cardiac First Responder team  and how it is linked to the Ambulance Service Everybody is welcome and as there are now Public Access Defibrillators available in the village it is important that as many people as possible know how to use them


Padraig Gleeson and Seamus Kennedy took 1st Place for North/South on Monday 5th November, 2nd Maria Magee and Judy Skates, 3rd Pamela Byrne and Margaret Byrne and 4th Maura Gaskin and Phil Power.  1st for East/West was the pairing of Ger Lenihan and Rowena Brady, 2nd Margaret Bolger and Paddy O Brien, 3rd Declan O Brien and Claire O Connor and 4th Bridie Nolan and John Loscher.


On Friday 9th November Margaret Byrne continued her winning run this time for East/West with partner Maria Magee, Ger Lenihan and Paddy O Brien were 2nd and Marion Davis and Teresa Leahy 3rd.  1st for North/South were Molly Byrne and Rachel Judd whilst Margaret Bolger and Noeleen Redmond shared 2nd with June Digby and Monica Brady.

The next Active retirement Lunch is in Lynhams on Friday 23rd November at 1.30 pm.


Morning badminton has resumed on Tuesday morning from 9.30pm.  All are welcome.



Monday night Bingo in The Coach House, Roundwood Starting at 8:30pm withCash prizes. A fun night out every Monday.


It is proposed to have our  November car boot sales on the second Sunday of the month on the 10th November.



Roundwood Whizzers Walking Group are back in action meeting at 7pm every Wednesday at the Coach House car park.  All welcome to walk at your own pace for approximately one hour.


Angel Healing and Angelic Guidance is back tomorrow evening Monday the 3rd of September in the Parish Hall Roundwood at 7.30 sharp. So if you would enjoy an evening of peace relaxation and hands on energy healing join us for a wonderful new experience.

Raffle prizes were won by Anne Pierce, Maura McHugh, Patricia Byrne, Martin Byrne & Mick Whelan. The next Whist is this Wednesday 21st November in The Parish Centre, Roundwood.


There was no jackpot winner in last weeks draw.  The numbers drawn were 1, 10, 18 & 30. There were four match three winners Smokey, John Merrieman, Charles Connolly & Roundwood Variety Group, Next weeks jackpot will be €22,600


Roundwood Home Producers Market is open from 12  noon till 5pm every Sunday in The Parish Centre. Come for your home baking, crafts, plants, vegetables and more.  New members always welcome or 087 2506785


Adult ceili dancing classes are held every Wednesday night in the parish hall from 8 to 9pm. Learn to solo dance and also group dances under the tuition of Aoife, Cian and Eimear and have great fun learning.



Alex Grey, PSquared Performance, is on hand to guide you through your fitness programme in the An Tóchar Fitness Centre.  Call up or ring Alex to join any of the classes or to discuss personal training.



A 45 Card Game takes place every Tuesday night in Moneystown Community Centre starting at a new time of 8.
