Thanks to all who supported the recent St Vincent De Paul church collection which raised €2157.00, this money will be used in the local community.

St. Nicholas Ladies GAA – held a Church gate collection at all Masses last weekend. A total of €254 was raised and your support was appreciated.

Title of new book about local history of Rathdangan. This book was over 4yrs in the making and contains a wealth of information and pictures on local area. Great read, book will be available to purchase locally. A great gift for any one interested in the history of the area.

 

Dunlavin Parish History Book – A new book by Chris Lawlor entitled ‘With Much Quiet Fervour’ on the history of Dunlavin Catholic Parish and St. Nicholas of Myra Church was launched at the harvest festival. The book is now on sale in the Parish office, at the back of the Church, Ed’s Fruit & Veg and Whelan’s Pharmacy. The 80 paged book costs €5.00 and would be of interest to people both within and beyond the parish. It would also make a very nice gift to send to locals who are living abroad. All proceeds from the sale of the book go to the parish. Would make a great little Christmas present for a loved one.

Friendship Club

The friendship club is meeting every Friday from 3 to 5 pm in the Parish centre. New members always welcome.

Music Lessons

John Brady TD will hold a clinic in Dunlavin parish centre on the 2nd Monday of each month from 11.30am to 12.30pm. All welcome to drop in.

 

Used Postage Stamps

 

Please keep your used postage stamps for St. Patrick’s Missions, Kiltegan who can use them to fundraiser. Used stamps can be dropped into the parish office any time. Thank you to all who have donated stamps throughout the past year.
