EU to vote on scraping February 29th

Following the vote to scrap daylight saving, MEPs are now set to vote on scraping the 29th of February.

MEP Floral Poi said “We came up with the idea last week, after long discussions about daylight saving, it was suggested we also do away with this silly day that comes about every four years.

But what is it all about, yes they say it keeps the seasons in check but sure who really knows, we get warm weather in winter an snow in summer, they go on about Global Warming but no one has thought of this 29th of February that could have us out of sync.

Also think of the people who are born on this day, they only have a birthday every four years think of them and the presents and parties they are missing out on.

Plus men who may not want to get married, won’t have to worry about being asked by their girlfriends, there are so many advantages.”

The next leap year is 2020, the vote will be taken later today.
