Whale Theatre|Let Your Colours Run Free|World Premiere

8:00 p.m.  Doors open 7:00 p.m.  Tickets,  €10.

Let Your Colours Run Free is the documentary of TransGreystones.

The first “small town” peer support group in Ireland for transgender and non-binary people.

The film follows their journey,  led by founders,  Sara, Sam and Simon.

The forge links with other local community groups.

They share members’ talents and inner-most thoughts through a public art exhibition.

The film is a gentle exploration faced by trans and non-binary people.

And how creative arts help their mental health.

It is an invitation to the wider community to develop a deeper understanding.

To create a community where tans and non-binary people feel safe and respected.

So they don’t feel they must leave their homes and families to find a safe place.

A safe place where they can express their true inner selves.

Our Words.  Our Voices.  Our Stories.  Our Way.

Paul Byrne from Greystones Guide.ie has the story.
