The centre wants to hire 100 “elves” to work on its Christmas family experience, which includes a Santa’s Train. The Christmas experience will begin in mid-November and run seven days a week until Christmas Eve.

Tickets have been on sale since September 1 and are priced at €15 per child and €10 per adult. Almost 30,000 tickets have been sold for this year’s experience.

“We are looking to recruit fun, enthusiastic and outgoing Santa’s elves to ‘The Elf Academy’ to help Santa and Mrs. Claus meet and greet all the children who will visit. Successful elf-licants will be trained in the ELF to Z of Christmas magic as they will need to ensure a magical Christmas experience for children, each of whom will receive their own special gift from Santa,” says James Keogh, managing director of Rathwood.
