The woman who died in a house fire in the early hours of Monday morning has been named locally as Jackie Murphy, her body was discovered in a bedroom.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Monastery Grove in Enniskerry shortly before 5am.
A boy and a girl, aged 13 and 15, managed to escape the fire by jumping from an upstairs window.
They were taken to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin where they are being treated for minor injuries.
There were no other people in the house, which was badly damaged in the blaze.
A neighbouring house was also extensively damaged by smoke and water.
The scene has been sealed off for a technical examination.
