The home of Eamon and Mary Burke is one of the most popular attractions in Arklow over Christmas, with families flocking to their Beech Road home every year to see their marvellous display of lights and ornaments.
The Burkes have been decorating their home head-to-toe with Christmas lights for 21 years and like all the years before they will also be raising money for Crumlin Children’s Hospital, hoping people will pop a few coins in the bucket while visiting the display.
The lights are a labour of love for the Burkes, who have now amassed an impressive collection of lights and decorations.
This year, visitors will see a garden full of dancing figures and reindeer, as well as the enormous light display.
“This is our twenty-first year decorating the house and this is definitely one of the best years we’ve had,” Mary told WicklowNews.net.
“As always we’ll be raising money for Crumlin Children’s Hospital and would ask everyone who comes out to see the lights for a small donation.”
The Burkes turned their lights on yesterday and they will remain on every day from 4.30pm until the first week of January.
