Avoca Recycling

The proceeds from the next Scrap Metal collection at the Avoca Recycling Centre will be for the Avoca Senior Citizens fund. The committee wish to thank everyone who has or will be donating Scrap Metal to the centre for their support and to everyone for their continuous contributions to the Senior Citizens small change buckets which are situated throughout the village. Our thanks to Myles Doyle for his continuous support of the Avoca Senior Citizens.

 Avoca Community Play Group

Mothers & Toddlers every Friday from 10am to 12noon.

€3 per adult which includes coffee & biscuits.

Annual General Meeting

Avoca Community Hall Co. Ltd will hold their AGM in the Community Hall, Avoca on Thursday 28 November at 8.00p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.  Please come along, new members very welcome.

Avoca National School

The School is currently accepting enrolments for the next School year.  Enrolment Forms are available from the School Office and should be returned by the 20 December 2013.

Red Kite Walk

OFFICIAL OPENING CHANGE OF DATE. As we have linked up with The Golden Eagle Trust for an exciting new venture for the area, we have postponed the Official Opening of the RED KITE WALK until January when we will also be announcing details of the project. Watch this space for the new date.

Avoca Senior Citizens Committee

A cheque for Euros 380.00 was handed over to Avoca Senior Citizens Committee ..the money was raised through a scrap metal collection organised by Miley Doyle of Avoca Recycling Centre and Shane Barnes of Leon Recycling Arklow.  The committee wish to thank everyone who donated Scrap Metal to the centre and for their constant contributions to the Senior Citizens Fund.

Aughrim, Ballinatone & Castlemacadam Parish

Would like to thank all who supported and attended the Parish Dinner & Dance, and also many thanks to the management and staff of the Woodenbridge Hotel for their hospitality.

Active Retirement

Afternoon Tea Dance will be held on Sunday 24th November 2013.  It will be held at the Avoca Community Hall from 3pm to 6pm. Music by The Wicklow Man Admission Euros 5.00
