Woman killed by train at Blackditch in Newcastle

Emergency services are attending a scene at Blackditch, Newcastle after a person was struck by a train this morning.

Iarnród Éireann have confirmed that a woman was killed on the Dublin to Wexford line at around 11am.

Trains have been suspended between Greystones and Wicklow, and services are expected to remain closed for at least an hour.
