On Sunday December 22 the walk is From Crossbridge to the Dying Cowly (B/C walk), meeting in Tinahely square at 10.30am. Kilrush Drama Group – Christmas Concert – Sunday 15th December
A special Christmas evening Christmas Concert has been organised in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of Kilrush Drama Group in St. Brigid’s Church, Kilrush on Sunday the 15th of December, 2013 commencing at 7 pm . The concert will feature, Kilkenny Gospel Choir and a wonderful line-up of local choirs and artists. The concert will be lovely way of getting into the Christmas Spirit. It may be advisable to bring a cushion. The proceeds of the concert will divided between Kilrush Parish and the renovation fund for St. Brigid’s Hall, Carnew. Admission is €10.00 and tickets are available from Kilrush Drama Group Committee members, Fr. Power, Cathy Tighe in Ballyroebuck National School, Carnew Training & Development Centre, Mick Kelly, Candy’s and Mrs. Kennedy, Main Street, Carnew.

CHRISTMAS MAGIC FLOWER DEMOSTRATION
A flower demonstration by France Cosgrave, Betty Cummiskey and Paula Dowling will take place in Carnew Day Centre on Thursday 18th December at 7.30pm admission €7, refreshments served, door prize and raffle all proceeds to Carnew Community Care and local St Vincent De Paul.

Baubles are now on sale for teh Forget Me Not Christmas Tree in Askamore Church, mass for all names on the tree will be celebrated on22nd December, baubles €3 each or €5 for two, all proceeds to Askamore Childcare group.
