Christmas Market
The Christmas markets at the Brockagh Centre will take place on Sunday 8 and 15 December. Lots of hand-made and unique Christmas gifts to buy. We will have something for children on both days. Sunday 8 December children can try out archery and other games as well as face-painting. Sunday 15 Santa will make an appearance.
Christmas Puddings & Cakes , Home baking, Jams & Chutneys, Jewellery, Novelty Bird Tables, Hand knits, Aloe Vera, Candles, Christmas Wreathes, Glass & Pottery, Plants and much, much more. Refreshments available – tea, coffee, mulled wine, minced pies. Gifts from as little as 5 euro. Admission & Parking free. Outdoor Activities at Market
The team from Pascoe Lang outdoor adventure will be at the Xmas Market in the Brockagh Centre this Sunday from 11 a.m. with archery and team games suitable for ages 4 to 99. Best score on the day will get a prize.
Mobile Library
The mobile library is in Laragh every second Thursday from 11.30 am until 12.30 pm. The next date is 12 December.
Active Retirement
Our next lunch, which will be our Christmas lunch, will take place on Tuesday 17 December in Lynhams Hotel (this will also be our monthly lunch for December). Please let us know if you are joining us as we will need to confirm numbers. Come along to the Brockagh Centre that morning at 11am and join us in some carol singing with the pupils of Scoil Chaoimhin Naofa – call (0404) 45600 for further details. We will be finishing up for Christmas on 17 December and return on January 21 2014. The group will be heading up to Ronan Collins and his Showband for lunch and dancing on Saturday 14 December – we are sure they will all have a wonderful time. New members are always welcome.
Mobile Library

Citizen’s Information
The Citizen’s Information Centre at the Brockagh Centre is open on 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month. The next date is 17 December from 10 a.m. until 12 noon for information relating to your rights and entitlements. No appointment necessary. This is a free and confidential service. The CIC at the Brockagh Cetnre will re-open on Tuesday 7 January
Tuesday Night – Dance Night
The Wicklow Man every Tuesday night in the Brockagh Centre from 9.30 p.m.
AA Meetings
Closed AA Meetings are held in the Brockagh Resource Centre in Laragh at 8.30 p.m. every Monday night. If you think that you may have a problem with alcohol please come along.
Ballinaclash Foroige Youth Club
Ballinaclash Foroige Youth Club are hosting their annual Christmas Party in Ballianclash Community Hall from 3 to 5pm thisSaturday 14th December. There will be plenty of fun, games and treats. We will also be singing carols outside around the Christmas Tree with children getting an opportuntiy to hang their Christmas Wishes on the tree. We hope that a special guest will be able to make an appearance on the day so you better be good!
