Mountain Rescue aid Scout

On Saturday,December 14 at around 17.08, both the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team and the Dublin and Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were requested to come to the aid of a young scout who had sustained an injury after stumbling while walking in Stranahealy Woods.

The young boy was treated by mountain rescue medics and HSE personnel before being stretchered a short distance to a waiting ambulance and transported to hospital.
