A very enjoyable evening was had by all who attended the ICA Senior Citizens Party in Murphy’s Hotel on Saturday 30th Nov. The meal was excellent and the music by Denis Monaghan had everyone up dancing. The Raffle took place at the event. Marita Byrne would like to thank everyone who attended and supported her tea/coffee morning on Sat 26th Oct for The Irish Cancer Society. A reading will take place in the library at 11.00 a.m. on Saturday, December 14th. Dermot Meleady will read from his book “John Redmond – The National Leader”. His previous book is Redmond the Parnellite. His new book has been reviewed in the Sunday Independent and the Irish Times. His book is on display in all the book shops in Dublin. Dermot is here at Tinahey Library to talk and sign books so if you would like to come along all are welcome.
