Garda investigate robbery at Arklow newsagents

Gardai in Arklow are investigating a break-in at a newsagents in the town.

Raiders forced open the shutters and smashed the door to Johnboy’s newsagents on Ferrybank at 4.30am on Tuesday morning.

After entering the shop the thieves took an RNLI charity box and left after less than a minute.

Garda forensics examined the scene and are checking CCTV.
