Wicklow RNLI was delighted to welcome members of the Wicklow Kilmantin Arts Group to the station on Friday, January 31.
The local artists called in to hand over a cheque for €500 which they raised during a recent art auction in Wicklow.
Mary De Courcy, chairperson of the fundraising branch accepted the cheque on behalf of the station. She thanked the artists for the generous donation.
Speaking after the presentation, Tommy Dover, Wicklow RNLI said: “We were delighted to receive the cheque from the group especially on SOS Day, one of the RNLI’s main fundraising days.”
