Ben Brady’s Set Dancing continues every Wednesday night in the Mill Room, Kilcoole at 8pm.


Djouce Lady Captain Deirdre Carroll is planning on organising group golf lessons at Djouce Golf Club for ladies who have always thought they would like to try the game of golf. The group lessons will be given by a golf professional and will cover all levels and also people who have never picked up a golf club before ! So ladies give golf a try and don’t worry about not having any golf clubs the clubs you will need will be provided for the lessons. Golf is a great game come along and enjoy the fresh air and have fun. The plan is to hold the group lessons in early spring  the total cost for four one hour lessons is €50. The Wicklow Man will play n Moneystown Community Centre on Friday 14th February from 9.30 till 12 midnight.  All are welcome.


John Flood will play in Roundwood Parish Hall & Centre on Friday February 21st from 9.30 p.m. until 12.  Come along and enjoy a night of waltzing, jiving etc.


Anne Sexton Pilates – Class on Thursdays at 12 noon – Mobility and Posture for the Older Adult.  Call in and have a chat with Anne and try it out!  Also, Boxercise – new class on a Friday night at 8 pm.  €10 for adult, €6 for students and unwaged.

The Annual Mass of Remembrance for Parishioners and family members of Parishioners who died since March last year and whose funerals took place outside the Parish will take place on Saturday March 15th  at 6.30 pm


A reminder that the Active Retirement Lunch club will take place on Friday 21st February in The Roundwood Inn

The Cuidiu Humpty Dumpty Playgroup meets every Wednesday from 10 – 11.30 am in the Parish Hall.  All pre-school children are welcome.  Bring along your Parent or Minder & they can have tea and a chat while you play!


S.M.A. pilgrimage to Knock will take place on Saturday 24th May leaving Laragh at 7a.m, Roundwood at 7.30a.m. Bus, breakfast and dinner €50 per person.  All money to be paid before 1st May, 2014.  All enquiries to 0404 45276.

The results of the whist in aid of the Senior Citizens is as follows:- Top Score: Monica Brady; Top Gent: Ann Gaffney; Second Gent: Tiney Shortt; Top Lady: Mary Murphy; Second Lady: Mary Pierce; First Half: Jimmy Molloy; Second Half: Ann Pierce; Lowest Score: Margaret Kennedy and Pat Fisher (shared) and longest sitting: Maura McHugh.  The raffle prizes were won by Kitty Kennedy, Ann Wolohan, Jimmy Molloy & Tiney Shortt.  Our sincere sympathy to the Coleman family on the death of Joe, may he rest in peace.  The next whist will be on Wednesday 19th February 2014.


The proposed stretch of road this year is more than a mile!! It starts from Roundwood Health Centre along the Annamoe Roadto the bottom of  Derralossary Church lane. A meeting of the residents, landowners and anyone interested in getting involved in the 2014 Pure Mile will take place on Wednesday 12th February in Aras on Tochar at 8pm. Your support would be much appreciated so please do come along!!


Set dancing is back in full swing in Kavanagh’s lounge every Thursday night with music this week by CDs and by the O’Kane family for the remainder of the month. Lessons before hand at 8.30 with session from 9pm until 11pm.
