Annacurra Variety show will be staged in the Community Hall, Annacurra  on Friday April 11 and Sunday April 13.

Busy Fingers Pre-school

We would like to thank all the children and parents who turned up to support Busy Fingers in the Aughrim St. Patrick’s Day parade.  It was lovely to see so many of you and for us all to take part in this community event.

Card Game

There will be a 45 card game on in Annacurra Community Hall on Friday  April 4, starting at  9pm

 

 

Daffodil Day Cuppa Thanks.

 

The Daffodil Day Coffee Morning held on Friday 28th March last in The Courthouse Arts Centre, Tinahely was a great success,  raising in excess of €2,000.   A very big thank you to everyone who supported, helped and contributed in any way to  this hugely successful coffee morning Fundraiser.  Proceeds to the Irish Cancer Society.  Thank you for your valued and wonderful support.

 

GAA Lotto

Results for March  24    No jackpot winner. Numbers drawn 4-8-15-21  Match 3 winners ; Billy Moules,Aughrim and Pat O’Brien c/o Anna Byrne.  Jackpot stands at € 3.550 euro. Draw takes place on Monday night in the Saltee,

 

 

Library

Opening times  for Aughrim Library are as follows;  Tuesday 3-5 ,Wednesday 3-5 and 6-30  until 8-30, Friday  11-1 and 3-5, Saturday 2-4. Internet and photocopying available. Membership  free.

 

Community Games

The Art and Handwriting competition had been taking place over the last few weeks in both local schools and we are very grateful to the Principals and teachers for their continued valued support.

The results are as follows and these children will represent our area at the County Wicklow Art Finals on Sunday May 25th in Blessington. Congratulations to everyone who took part. We have great local talent.

A busy time in Athletics continues with the club taking part in the Rathdrum Cross Country, Juvenile league on Friday 4th April in Aughrim and our Area Athletic Finals on Monday 14th April in Aughrim
