Bingo is held weekly in Avoca Community Hall on Wednesday evenings from 8.30pm. All are welcome!

 

Avoca Active Retirement

Crochet classes continue on Wednesdays at 11 am and Drama at 12.30 the hall. All our usual activities continue art, bowls, French, line dancing, book club and social morning on Sundays. Avoca Recycling Centre

Avoca Recycling Centre is pleased to announce that for a trial period we can take your household plastic packaging (Soft Plastic) again. All Plastic Packaging must be clean and dry. There is to be strictly none of the following – No Plastic Meat Packaging, No Meat wrapping, No Coal Bags, No Farm Plastic, No plastic bands from Briquettes, No Crisp bags etc.

Only clean and dry plastic packaging will be accepted. If this trial period is a success we hope to continue to take your Plastic Packaging in the future. Tetrapak recycling will also recommence on a trial basis but the following conditions will strictly apply: The tetra pak must be completely empty, must be washed out thoroughly, must have the plastic top/spout cut off. Tetrapak will be placed in the cardboard container. We thank you for your continued support. FARM FAMILY COMMITTEE

A meeting of the County Wicklow IFA Farm Family Committee will take place on Tuesday, 25th March in the Woodenbridge Hotel

at 8 pm.The speaker this month will be Mr Ian Davis of the Pure Mile and we look forward to hearing him speak. IFA members and their families are all welcome. There is a cup of tea/coffee after the meeting where people can have a chat and get to know one another. Why not come along and enjoy the evening.
