Gardai are investigating the death of a man at a hostel in Wicklow Town.
The body of the man was discovered on Thursday morning at the Warrens hostel on Kilmantan Hill which is run by the Dublin SIMON community.
A post-mortem will be carried out to determine the cause of death.
Local residents objected strongly to the hostel which took in its first resident in January.
The Mayor of the town Malcolm Earls said: “It is tragic news and I wish to express my sympathy to the family of the man.”
