Bingo takes place in the Hollywood Centre every Thursday night at 8.30pm. We have two jackpots – €3,000 and €1,700 to play for each week.

LivCom 2014
Hollywood LivCom organising committee would like to thank the people of Hollywood village and the surrounding community who took part in the Photograph Exhibition on Sunday 30th March. The exhibition also included a school logo poster competition. There were almost 80 posters from the local school children and the standard was very high. The exhibition was a great success with many photographs from both the Under 16 and Adults. The committee would especially like to thank main sponsors Mc Greal’s chemist, Blessington. Judging was by Phyllis Hamilton and Marcin from Mc Greal’s. Also the committee appreciate the help of the Hollywood Centre and many others from Hollywood who helped prepare the Centre and provided refreshments on the day.

No Name Club
Well done to Katie O’ Keeffe who sang and was one of five finalists that represented the South East in the National Youth Awards in the Lyrath Hotel, Kelkenny on 22nd March. X Factor here we come! 18 members of the club are taking part in the Regional Super Talent Competitions on Saturday 5th April. Very best of luck to them all!
Club takes place every Wednesday 7.30 – 9.30pm for 15 – 18 year olds in the Hollywood Centre.
RECYCLING MAKES C€NTS!
Hollywood National School Parents Association are holding a clothes recycling drive on Mon 7th and Tues 8th April and would love if you could donate all your unwanted clothes, shoes, belts, handbags, household linens, soft toys and mobile phones (in a separate bag). Items can be dropped to the school hall at school opening and finishing times and also on Wed 9th April before 9.30am. All proceeds go to Hollywood National School. Thank you for your support.
Hollywood Fair
The Hollywood Fair will take place from 13th – 17th August 2014.
There will be an open meeting in the Hollywood Centre on Tuesday 22nd April at 8pm. All are welcome.
Bowls
Bowls every Tuesday and Friday in the Hollywood Centre 8 – 10pm. New members welcome.
Friendship Club
The Friendship Club meet every Wednesday in the Hollywood Centre from 2.15 – 4.15pm. All welcome.
Parent & Toddler Group
Hollywood Parent & Toddler Group meet every Thursday in The Hollywood Centre from 10am to 12noon, cost is €3 per family. Parents / carers can enjoy a chat & light refreshments while the little ones play! New members always welcome.
Official Opening
Friday 4th April at 2pm, the new school extension will be opened and blessed by Bishop Eamonn Walsh. There is an open invitation to parishioners and especially parents. This is our second extension in the space of ten years, and an indication of how Hollywood is growing.
Camogie
“Friends of Hollywood Camogie Club” are organising a Reunion & Dance for All – Supporters, Friends & Players (past & present) – on Fri 25th April in Hollywood GAA Clubhouse @ 8pm sharp. Music by ‘Eddie Davitt and the Quality Street Band’. Parish Office
The Parish Office is open from 9.30am to 1pm Monday to Friday. There are Easter Mass Bouquets and cards, First Holy Communion and Confirmation stock now on sale.
