Murphy welcomes Arklow dredging works

Councillor Miriam Murphy has welcomed the news of the signing of the dredging contract next Tuesday through Wicklow County Council.

This is the start of essential works being carried out, with other remedial works being planned for the harbour.

Earlier this year the Department of Transport, Sport and Tourism allocated funding of EURO 3,588,000 to Wicklow County Council for capital works in Arklow Harbour.
