Two-car crash near Arklow

A serious road collision occurred this evening just outside of Arklow.

The crash occurred on the Vale Road on the way to Woodenbridge at around 6pm.

The road was closed off for around an hour while fire crews and ambulance personnel worked on the drivers.

Arklow gardai would not make any comment on the state of either driver.

The road reopened shortly after 7pm.
