Annual charity walk coming through the town at noon,  Saturday,  10 May !!

Please give them a big welcome and help fill their donation buckets !!

Donations will go to support local charities.



A five mile ribbon chain will be formed from Bray to Greystones.

Route will follow Bray seafront over Bray Head via Cliff Walk to Greystones seafront.


This will be a Guinness World Record Challenge.

This will be a major event for our town and for charity.


Ribbon gets raised to break the world record at 12:00 p.m. noon.

Ed Deane is one of Ireland’s leading guitarist who is a renowned blues musician,  specialising in Slide and the Lap steel guitar, and a fine singer.


Eamon Murray is one of Ireland’s top harmonica players,  an excellent tenor sax player,  who is also a good singer.


With outstanding guitar,  sax and harmonica,  solo and harmony vocalists,  they tackle an intriguing selection of some of their own material and songs from such tunesmiths as Skip James,  Buddy Guy,  Bobby Charles and Little Walter Jacobs.

South Sudan Crisis Public Meeting

What The Churches Are Doing to Help

Bishop Anthony Poggo of Kajo-Keji Diocese,  South Sudan,  will speak about the background to the Sudan conflict,  give a first-hand account of the current situation and describe how the churches are working to resolve the conflict.


South Sudan is the world’s newest and one of the most poorest nations.

Conflict has left many dead and an estimated one million displaced.


UN and African Union intervention is helping.

The Christian Churches have organisational capacity,  integrity and effectiveness.

Foreign aid is frequently channelled through them.


Bishop Poggo is in Ireland to attend CMS 200th Anniversary Conference.

He is coming to Delgany due to its long commitment to primary education in South Sudan.

Refusing to be pigeonholed,  Sarah spans the genres with both her beautifully crafted originals and her interpretations of material from around the globe and down the centuries.

Brian Dunning/Flute & Sean Whelan/Guitar

Playing a variety of musical forms including classical,  contemporary,  Celtic,  world and jazz,  Brian Dunning is one of the world’s most respected flutists.  He is perhaps most recognised for his talent and skill in improvisation.


Sean Whelan is a guitarist and producer working in the Celtic and World music arena and is now much in demand as both a studio and touring musican.  He has played guitar through a cross-section of styles from Irish Music/Jazz/Gypsy Swing/Classical/World Music.  He has established himself as a forerunner in acoustic music by the passion,  creativity and versatility of his playing.
