Our friends at Wicklow Weather have issued a weather alert for Friday afternoon.
RISK: Stong Winds, Strong onshore currents etc.
With the amount of people spending time at beaches and off our coasts in small boats we thought we would issue an alert in advance of Friday afternoon.
Winds averaging 40kmh to 60kmh with gusts of 80kmh at sea and exposed headlands from east Munster through coastal Leinster & east Ulster.
Take care on exposed headlands and if you are visiting beaches please make sure to stay close to lifeguard stations and take advise on rip currents etc.
Rain will be heavy in many places tomorrow arriving from morning time. Slight risk of thunderstorm activity.
