West Wicklow Classic & Vintage Vehicle Club are running our 5th Annual Baltinglass Classic Run on Sunday next Aug 17th.
The event is in aid of Solas Special Class for Autism which provides specialist education and services for Children with Autism throughout West Wicklow and surrounding areas.
The run starts from Germaines in Baltinglass with registration from 12 noon and we get on the road at 2:30 PM sharp. All classic and vintage cars, motorcycles and commercials are welcome as are retro, sports cars, kits and any interesting vehicle. We stop off half way before returning to Germaine’s for dinner, free entrants draw, our main raffle and prizegiving. An extra feature of this years event is a 40th anniversary celebration of the VW golf. All golfs regardless of age are eligible for this with prize for golfs in various categories.
Entry is just €20 which includes one dinner, entry in a free draw, and souvenir gift. Additional adult and children’s meals will be available at a very special rate for the run.
For a great day out with fantastic food and a chance to win some super prizes including Hotel breaks while also helping a most worthy cause come along to Baltinglass on Sunday. Even if you cant take part in therun you can stll come along and see the cars and bikes in the streets from about noon onwards until the start at 2:30. You may also donate to the cause at the registration desk in Germaine’s Inisfáil during this time.
