A man in his thirties has died following a car crash south of Carlow town this afternoon.
The two-car collision took place just off the M9 motorway near Milford in Co Carlow.
Seven people were injured in the collision, with four taken to hospital, one of whom is in a critical condition.
The road between Carlow and Bagenalstown Rd (R448) is closed both ways at Milford, Gardai are at the scene.
