Bowls Club
The members of Annacurra Bowls club extend our sympathy to the O’Neill families on the recent death of Terry. He was a very devoted and dedicated member of our Bowls club for many years, He won The Agnes Doyle Cup in 2003 and 2004, along with winning many other competitions. The Bowls Club had a guard of honour at his funeral on Sunday evening 7th Sept. RIP.
Annacurra Bowls Club will resume bowling for the new season on Thursday 25th Sept 2014. Bowls will be as usual every Thursday and Sunday evening. Assemble at 7.50pm in order for play to commence at 8pm.
Gaa Lotto
Results for September 8. No jackpot winner . Numbers drawn 9-13-19-28. Match 3 winners; Peter Keogh, Aughrim. Jackpot stands at €7.150 euro. Draw held in Saltee on Monday night.
Library
Opening times for Aughrim Library are as follows; Tuesday 3-5 Wednesday 3-5 and 6-30 until 8-30 Friday 11-1 and 3-5 Saturday 2-4. Membership free. Internet access and photocopying available.
AGM
Annacurra Badminton are holding their AGM on Monday September 22 in Annacurra Community Centre at 9pm. Existing and new members very welcome.
