Crafty Cockney pays flying visit to Arklow

Former five-time champion of the World, Eric Bristow, payed a flying visit to Arklow on Sunday evening.

The ‘Crafty Cockney’, who is considered by many to be one of professional darts first big stars, entertained an enthusiastic crowd at Butlers pub.

He also played some of Arklow’s finest dart throwers in a leg of darts.

Also in attendance was former one-time champion of the World, Keith Deller.

Deller remains the only qualifier to win the World Professional Darts Championship, when he lifted the title in 1986, beating Bristow in the process.
