CHARITY/SPONSORED WALK ON THE BEAUTIFUL WICKLOW WAY
in aid of Dogs Trust
Sunday Sept 28th 2pm starting at Brockagh Centre, Laragh, Co Wicklow
Friends of Merlin are hosting a Charity/Sponsored walk on Sunday 28th September at 2pm in Laragh, Co Wicklow in aid of Dogs Trust. The walk follows 2 highly successful dog shows that Friends of Merlin ran in the summer in Bray and Greystones which raised over e1000 for Dogs Trust.
Walkers are encouraged to come out and enjoy the gorgeous scenery, autumn colours and a leisurely walk – with or without a four legged friend! You can take the pace at your own leisure – a brisk walk or a gentle stroll along the Wicklow Way starting from the Brockagh Centre in Laragh, near Glendalough, Co Wicklow. Minimum entry on the day E10 or sponsorship cards are available in advance from fundogshow@gmail.com or by calling 087 6267334.
Refreshments and a social gathering will take place at the end of the walk. Safe car parking is located at the Brockagh Centre and for those wishing to use public transport a local bus service runs from Dublin to Laragh www.glendaloughbus.com
