Wicklow County Council agrees to 15 per cent cut in property tax

Michelle McMullen of East Coast FM reports Wicklow County Councillors have agreed a 15 per-cent cut in the local property tax.

A special meeting took place today to discuss how much households will have to pay next year.

One Councillor abstained saying “The property tax should be abolished”, 31 Councillors were in favour of the new rate.
